Growth Marketing Internship

  • 3–5 positions available
  • Remote · anywhere in the world
  • 2–3 months
  • Flexible hours
  • 2 Zoom meetings per week

Ayahly is a growing Australian Islamic e-commerce brand, and we’re looking for 3–5 motivated Muslim interns, based anywhere in the world, to join us for a 2–3 month hands-on Growth Marketing Internship focused on Black Friday and international growth.

This is not a shadowing internship. Each intern will take ownership of one real marketing project, work with real e-commerce data, help execute live campaigns, and finish the internship with practical experience and a portfolio-ready project.

You’ll work directly with the founder and get exposure to Shopify, digital marketing, customer acquisition, international expansion and the commercial side of growing an e-commerce brand.

Choose your project

Every intern owns one project. You’ll tell us which ones interest you most when you apply.

Email Marketing & CRM

Help build Ayahly’s email marketing engine. You’ll work on Black Friday campaigns, customer segmentation, email automation, abandoned-cart flows, retention campaigns and performance analysis.

You’ll learn: Email marketing, CRM, copywriting, automation, A/B testing, customer retention and e-commerce analytics.

Creative Strategy & Content

Help develop and test Ayahly’s advertising creatives. You’ll research winning ads, develop hooks and marketing angles, write UGC scripts, create content and analyse which creatives actually perform.

You’ll learn: Creative strategy, Meta advertising, direct-response marketing, UGC, content creation and performance analysis.

SEO & AI Search

Help grow Ayahly’s visibility across Google and emerging AI search platforms. You’ll conduct keyword and competitor research, optimise real website pages, develop search-focused content and investigate how brands become visible in AI-generated search results.

You’ll learn: SEO, keyword research, Google Search Console, e-commerce SEO, content strategy, AI search visibility and organic growth.

International Growth & Market Expansion

Help Ayahly enter and grow in new international markets, including opportunities across the Middle East. You’ll research markets, competitors and customers and contribute to real market-entry, localisation and customer-acquisition campaigns.

You’ll learn: International marketing, market-entry strategy, consumer research, localisation, pricing, influencer marketing and global e-commerce.

Who we’re looking for

Eligibility: You must be Muslim to apply. You can be based anywhere in the world — the internship is fully remote.

Mainly students in Marketing, Business, Communications, E-commerce, Digital Marketing, International Business or a related field. Not a student but think you’d be a great fit? Please still apply.

You don’t need lots of experience. We care far more about curiosity, initiative, creativity and a willingness to own a project.

You’ll thrive here if you

  • Work well independently and remotely.
  • Are genuinely into e-commerce and digital marketing.
  • Enjoy researching, testing ideas and learning from results.
  • Communicate clearly and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Want hands-on experience, not just observation.
